At The Sixth Child, we are proud to introduce Harmony House, a vital new initiative aimed at providing a safe, therapeutic home for young women who have experienced abuse and have been living in government facilities.
These young women deserve a fresh start, and Harmony House is designed to offer just that—a nurturing environment where they can heal, learn, and build the skills necessary for independent living. While residing in this supportive home, they will receive guidance in establishing essential life skills, such as personal finance, household management, and emotional regulation.
In addition to life skills, these young women will be supported in completing their education and gaining access to employment opportunities, preparing them for a future of self-sufficiency. The ultimate goal of Harmony House is to empower each resident to transition smoothly into independent living or return to their families if it is deemed appropriate and safe.
We believe in the potential of every young woman to not just survive, but to thrive. This project reflects our commitment to helping them build brighter, more secure futures.
Stay connected with The Sixth Child as we continue to create impactful programs like Harmony House, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to live a life full of hope and possibility.
